Plan a Movie Night
When my brother and I lived together, we would often have themed movie nights. They may have been around a genre or a performer we liked.
You may be in the mood for a specific genre (mystery, comedy, etc.) or maybe you want to celebrate or explore a particular actor. We’ll have guides and suggestions for you organized here. For example, my husband and I were heartbroken to hear of Catherine O’Hara’s passing so we spent most of the week after she died watching movies she was in.

Find Something New
Back in the Golden Age of Hollywood when the studio system was in full swing, about 800 movies a year were produced. One of the things I love to do is share something I consider a Hidden Gem, so we’ll have a running list of them here.
Drinks and Pairings
I’m not actually a big drinker but I do like experimenting, especially with mocktails (non-alcoholic drinks). Remember, we’re not encouraging you to drink and alcoholic drink recipes are only provided for those who are of legal drinking age where they live. Don’t overindulge, don’t drink and drive, and don’t encourage your guests to do those things. And never pressure someone to drink anything they don’t want to. Remember, alcohol can harm your unborn baby so if you could be pregnant or are trying to get pregnant, don’t consume alcohol.
